Tia's tip

This is nice with mozzarella and tomatoes as well.
What do we do?
-
Heat oven to 200oC
-
Cut slices of the bread and drizzle with olive oil
-
Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy
-
Cut the garlic clove in half and rub it on your piece of toasted bread
-
Cut the bacon into small pieces using scissors and cook in a frying pan until cooked through. Should take 3-4 minutes
-
Cut the tomatoes into eight pieces. The best way is to cut into quarters and then cut each quarter in half horizontally
-
Cut the avocado in half and remove the large stone from the centre
-
Spoon the avocado flesh from the skin and put it into one of the small bowls
-
Use the fork to mash the avocado
-
Cut the basil leaves by placing them into a cup and using the scissors to chop into small pieces
-
Mix the basil and tomatoes in the second small bowl
-
Take the piece of bread and spread some of the mashed avocado on top
-
Add some of the tomato and basil salad and then sprinkle with bacon
Eat and enjoy!
