Cyrus' tip

If you don't like pips in your smoothie, use frozen strawberries and blueberries

What do we do?

  • Remove the stalks from the Spinach leaves.

  • Put the beetroot on a plate and use the table knife cut the beetroot into eight pieces.

  • Put the spinach, berries and beetroot into the big bowl.

  • Cut the apple into small pieces. Place the apple on the chopping board, using the sharp knife cut four pieces of apple around the core. Discard the core, which will be a rectangle, in a compost bin. Keep cutting the apple until it is in pieces the size of your fingernail.

  • Peel the banana and break it into six pieces.

  • Add the banana, apple and apple juice to the bowl.

  • Use the stick blender to blend the ingredients until smooth.
